- The answer starts with A and ends with L.
- It contains N and V.
- It has two vowels and no repeated letters.
- It is a blacksmith’s tool and is associated with Hephaestus in Greek mythology.
What does the clue mean?
An anvil is a heavy block used in metalworking. A blacksmith works metal against it, which connects the tool to Hephaestus, the Greek god associated with smithing. WordFinder also points to the cartoon gag of Acme anvils as a clue.
