How Hurdle’s five rounds work
Hurdle proceeds through five rounds. In the first round, feedback identifies letters that are in the correct position, letters that belong in the answer but are misplaced, and letters that are not in the answer. Once you solve a round, its answer becomes the starting guess for the next hurdle. That carryover can provide useful letter clues, but it may provide few or none depending on the words.
In the final hurdle, correct and misplaced letters from earlier answers are shown. Do not treat the number of highlighted letters as a count of how many times a letter appears in the final answer; the Mashable article cautions that highlight counts do not necessarily indicate final-answer letter frequency.
