O Tiny Desk Brasil é a edição licenciada pela NPR da série de concertos intimistas, produzida localmente pela Anonymous Content Brazil em parceria com a produtora Amabis e com participação da NPR Music. As apresentações são gravadas ao vivo, diante de público, no escritório do Google em São Paulo e publicadas em um canal exclusivo no YouTube. A NPR anunciou a estreia para 7 de outubro de 2025.
O que é — e o que não é — o Tiny Desk Brasil
A NPR anunciou a edição brasileira em 2 de outubro de 2025 como a mais nova versão internacional do Tiny Desk. O projeto funciona por meio de um acordo de licenciamento entre a NPR e a Anonymous Content Brazil: a produção acontece no Brasil, com curadoria e produção da Anonymous Content Brazil e da Amabis, em colaboração com a NPR Music. Não é a transferência da sede ou da operação de rádio da NPR para o país.
A NPR descreveu o Brasil como a terceira edição internacional da série, após as versões do Japão e da Coreia. Como a série original é gravada na sede da NPR em Washington, a versão brasileira mantém a proposta de performances intimistas em um espaço de escritório, mas tem gravação local em São Paulo e distribuição em canal próprio no YouTube. Onde é gravado e como funciona o formato
As apresentações são gravadas ao vivo no escritório do Google em São Paulo e contam com público. Na gravação de estreia acompanhada pela Veja São Paulo, os convidados não sabiam de antemão quem seria o artista, e os celulares eram guardados durante a sessão. O cenário reunia instrumentos, discos de artistas brasileiros e referências visuais ao país.

Naquele ciclo, os episódios eram lançados às terças-feiras e o conteúdo adicional Tiny Talks, com entrevistas conduzidas por Sarah Oliveira, às quintas-feiras. A reportagem também mencionou patrocínio da Heineken. Esses dias de publicação e esse patrocínio descrevem a cobertura de fevereiro de 2026, não um cronograma permanente. Os números de audiência publicados variam conforme fonte e data, e as matérias não fornecem metodologia comparável. Em 2025, a NPR afirmou que a série tinha mais de 20 milhões de usuários únicos e 62 milhões de visualizações por mês, sem detalhar no comunicado o período ou método de medição; também informou mais de 4 bilhões de visualizações no YouTube. Em fevereiro de 2026, a Exame citou mais de 3,5 bilhões de visualizações e mais de mil apresentações desde 2008. Esses números devem permanecer atribuídos às respectivas fontes, sem tratá-los como uma sequência que comprove aumento ou queda.
A NPR também caracterizou o Brasil como seu segundo maior público nacional para a série, afirmação repetida pela Exame em 2026. As fontes não detalham como esse ranking foi calculado, portanto ele é uma declaração atribuída à NPR e ao projeto, não um ranking auditado independente. No anúncio de 2025, a produtora executiva da NPR Music, Suraya Mohamed, destacou a influência da música brasileira para além das fronteiras do país. Bárbara Teixeira, CEO da Anonymous Content Brazil, relacionou a criação da edição local ao tamanho da audiência brasileira.
