This is an in-person event—not an announced revival, new episode or televised special: the organizer describes it as “never-to-be-televised.”
What the 30 Rock reunion is—and isn’t
Called the 30 Rock 20th Anniversary Celebration, the event is billed as a live gathering featuring games, “nonsense” and surprises. It is not being announced as a scripted continuation of the series. Live Nation says the event will never be televised; the announcement does not establish a stream, recording or later distribution.

Fey’s announcement quote turns the reunion into a joke at the show’s expense: “Listen up tens, a five is speaking! Please join us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show Tom Shales once said ‘needs a better premise and funnier dialogue… and most of all a more commanding performer in the starring role.’” The Tom Shales line is nested within Fey’s promotional quote, not a separate new statement by her.
Why 30 Rock is marking 20 years
Created by Fey, 30 Rock ran for seven seasons, from 2006 to 2013, according to Live Nation. The organizer’s announcement credits the series with 16 Emmy Awards and 103 Emmy nominations, as well as six Golden Globe Awards and 17 Golden Globe nominations. These are figures reported by Live Nation in its 2026 event announcement.
Where proceeds will go
Live Nation says all net proceeds from the event will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem. The announcement does not specify a dollar amount.
