Perth teenagers Ava Bennett, Isabelle Dalglish and Natasha Mantle were reported as preparing to model in New York Fashion Week in September 2025, representing mental-health not-for-profit Mind Your Fashion. Later local coverage confirms Mantle walked the runway; the available reports do not establish whether Bennett or Dalglish did.
Who were the three Perth teenagers?
- Ava Bennett: Reported as 16 and from Dianella in PerthNow’s September 3, 2025 profile. The report said she attended Chisholm Catholic College.
- Isabelle Dalglish: Reported as 17 and from Bennett Springs. PerthNow said she was studying at TAFE and pursuing nursing.
- Natasha Mantle: Reported as 17 and from Como. The September profile said she attended Willetton Senior High School.
Those ages and school or study details describe what PerthNow reported in September 2025; they should not be taken as current biographical details.
What was planned for New York Fashion Week?
PerthNow reported that the three were due to travel to New York for events scheduled from September 11 to 16, 2025. They were set to model for Melbourne-based House of Jaise and Flying Dress Tasmania, while representing Mind Your Fashion, a not-for-profit raising awareness of mental health in the creative industries.
For Mantle, the opportunity meant taking her work to another country while still young. In the September profile, she called it “really cool” to have the chance to show what they could bring. The report described the trip as the group’s first venture to the event.

What is confirmed after the event?
An October 23, 2025 follow-up in Your Local Examiner confirms that Mantle walked the runway. She described enjoying the preparation and anticipation: “I love getting ready, that adrenaline before the runway.” She also recalled, “It was insane. I was really excited about the opportunity.”
The follow-up does not confirm whether Bennett or Dalglish completed their planned appearances. The September story records their expected participation, not a verified account of what each did in New York.

What the teenagers had done and hoped to do
Before the trip, PerthNow reported that Bennett had appeared in a Flying Dress Tasmania photoshoot outside the Sydney Opera House. It also said Bennett and Dalglish had seen their work displayed in Times Square from afar. Dalglish told the paper she hoped to make connections at a celebrity after-party and had arranged dress-modeling work in Singapore for after her return. These were pre-event details and plans; the reports do not establish their later outcomes.
Mantle’s message after her runway experience was to take opportunities when they arise: “Put yourself out there and have a go. You never know when an opportunity might come along, and if it does, take it, because you never know what might come from it.”
