The original announcement promised Wiggly experiences onboard and ashore, including character events, live concerts and exclusive merchandise. Royal Caribbean’s current Australia page now lists a second season, for summer 2026–27, so those later sailings should not be confused with the original announcement.
What did Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles announce?
The 2024 announcement brought together Royal Caribbean International and the Australian children’s music group for a cruise partnership. Royal Caribbean described itself as The Wiggles’ “Official Cruise Holiday Partner” and said exclusive Wiggly sailings were planned for summer 2025–26. What is currently listed—and which season is it?
Royal Caribbean’s current Australia page lists three Wiggly-themed sailings for summer 2026–27, a later season than the 2025–26 plan in the original announcement. The listed departures are from Brisbane and Sydney aboard Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas. The current 2026–27 page describes Wiggly Friends appearances at Adventure Ocean Kids Club and pool-deck experiences. The list of cruise inclusions includes main meals, Royal Caribbean entertainment, most onboard activities, Adventure Ocean Kids Club and Teen Club, and free ice cream. What did an earlier Wiggly sailing include?
An official infographic for a specific nine-night South Pacific Splendour cruise offers an example of the kind of programming featured on an earlier sailing—not a promise that every itinerary will have the same events. That cruise departed Sydney on 13 March 2026 aboard Anthem of the Seas and listed Port Vila and Mystery Island in Vanuatu, and Noumea in New Caledonia, as stops. Its advertised activities included a Wiggly Friends sail-away party, story time with Wags the Dog, character photos, a live Wiggly Adventure Show, a dance class with Dorothy the Dinosaur and a Wiggly disco.
