Who joined each coach’s team?
John Legend: Jay Ammo and Pablo Herrera
Jay Ammo performed Ed Sheeran’s “The A Team” and received a four-chair turn before choosing John Legend. Legend praised his voice as “almost floating through the room.” Pablo Herrera also picked Legend, after performing Labrinth’s “Jealous.” Legend’s emphasis on storytelling was clear in his coaching philosophy: “That’s the main way that I coach when I’m in a session with an artist, is how you convey the story in the song that’s effective in your performance.”
Kelsea Ballerini: Brook Wood and Simone Marijic
Brook Wood joined Ballerini after singing Jelly Roll’s “Save Me.” Simone Marijic also chose Ballerini, performing Olivia Rodrigo’s “Favorite Crime.”

Michael Bublé: Adam David and Naomi Soleil
Adam David’s reggae rendition of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way” earned him a place on Bublé’s team. Naomi Soleil selected Bublé after singing “Stars.” The recap says Bublé marked his completed team with a kazoo.
Adam Levine: Tori Templet and Trevon Dawson
Tori Templet performed Taylor Swift’s “Lover” and joined Levine. His final selection came in the closing minutes: Trevon Dawson sang Bailey Zimmerman’s “Religiously,” prompting all four coaches to turn, according to the recap. Dawson, described there as a 17-year-old country artist, chose Levine.

Levine told Dawson, “You’re way too together for your age. Your voice cuts like a knife. Your voice is what sails over the top of the chaos,” and added, “I’m going to pour all the no’s I’ve gotten in country music into you.” The recap frames that comment as an exception to Levine’s previous reluctance to turn for country singers; it should be read as the recap’s characterization, not a complete account of his coaching history.
Why the final choices stood out
The episode’s defining decisions were about fit, not simply the number of chairs turned. Jay Ammo’s four-chair audition ended with a choice of Legend, while Herrera independently made the same coach choice. Dawson also had all four coaches turn, but Levine’s pitch—especially his promise to channel his past country-music rejections into support for Dawson—helped secure the last spot on his team. The performances ranged from a reggae treatment of a rock song to country and pop selections, giving each coach a different way to make a case.

Charted reported 12 artists on each team after the blind auditions. A Yahoo Entertainment roster excerpt also lists 12 names for Legend, Bublé, and Levine, but its available Kelsea Ballerini list contains only 11. Because that excerpt omits a name, it does not support presenting a fully verified four-team roster here.
