Pop artist Jose Luis chose her after a four-chair turn, filling her final roster spot. The episode aired October 15, 2024, and was the season’s sixth and final Blind Auditions episode.
How Gwen completed her team first
Jose Luis, an artist from Puerto Rico, earned turns from all four coaches with an emotional performance of “traitor.” He then chose Gwen, and that decision filled the last opening on her team. The result depended not just on the coaches’ interest, but on the artist’s choice.

Why a chair turn does not guarantee a spot
During the Blind Auditions, a coach turns their chair to signal interest in an artist. If more than one coach turns, the artist decides which team to join. A four-chair turn therefore gives an artist several options; it does not automatically award them to any one coach.
That distinction is clear in another notable audition from the episode: Katie O also received a four-chair turn, for LeAnn Rimes’s “One Way Ticket (Because I Can),” and chose Reba McEntire.

What happened in the final Blind Auditions episode
Gwen, Reba, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé were the Season 26 coaches. The episode recap reports that Michael began the night with three open team spots, while each of the other coaches had two. All four teams were complete by the end of the episode, with Gwen reaching that milestone first.
Other selected moments included returning contestant Cassidy Lee, who joined Michael’s team after singing “You’re No Good,” and music therapy student Aliyah Khaylyn, who sang “Love and War” and also joined his completed roster. Mikaela Ayira and Suede Lacy were among Snoop’s final additions; Suede performed “Redbone.” These are highlights from the available episode recap, not a complete performance order or full roster list.

What the episode establishes—and what it doesn’t
The episode recap establishes the order in which the teams were completed: Gwen’s was first, after Jose Luis chose her, and all four coaches had full teams by the end of the night. Those facts do not by themselves rank the teams’ overall strength or the auditions’ quality. The episode listing identifies October 15, 2024, as the air date and confirms that this was the final Blind Auditions night of Season 26.
