The Time Travelers is the title of several unrelated works. On DocumentaryTube, the clearest documentary match is the 2025 short film about a rafting team’s Grand Canyon speed-record attempt. The same title is also used by a 1964 science-fiction film and Linda Buckley-Archer’s time-travel novel, so the year and medium matter.

The 2025 documentary: a Grand Canyon rafting record attempt
The documentary entry is about an athletic challenge, not science-fiction time travel. It follows the USA men’s rafting team during an attempt to set a speed record on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Apple TV describes it as a 23-minute film from Gnarly Bay Productions. That listing identifies the work, but it does not establish whether the film is available to watch in every country or through every service.
The 1964 science-fiction film
Ib Melchior and David L. Hewitt wrote the 1964 film, which AFI catalogs as a science-fiction release from October of that year. Its premise follows scientists who pass through a portal into a future devastated by nuclear war. AFI lists Preston Foster, Philip Carey, and Merry Anders among the cast, and describes production by Dobil Productions, with American International Pictures set to release it for the 1964 season.
Catalogs differ slightly on runtime: AFI gives 83 minutes, while Apple TV lists 1 hour 22 minutes. These are source-specific catalog listings, not a reason to assume that every edition runs identically. Apple TV’s page is an identification listing, not confirmation of current streaming or rental rights in a particular region.

The novel by Linda Buckley-Archer
The novel follows Gideon Seymour, a thief in eighteenth-century London, and Peter Schock and Kate Dyer, children from the twenty-first century. The children arrive after an experiment involving an antigravity machine goes wrong; when the Tar Man takes the machine, they lose their apparent way home. The publisher presents the story as Book 1 of The Gideon Trilogy.
Its historical-adventure setting includes London’s criminal underworld, highwaymen, and King George’s palace. Publisher materials also note historical figures including Erasmus Darwin, George III, and Samuel Johnson. The novel uses these figures and settings as part of an adventure, rather than serving as a history textbook.
