Fox also has a role in the story, while the film includes a wider range of reported Nintendo character appearances.
Are there post-credits scenes in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?
Yes. There are two: one during the credits and another at the very end. The Los Angeles Times and GamesRadar+ describe the mid-credits scene as featuring Fox McCloud and Lumalee at the prison holding Bowser and Bowser Jr. Fox says he is heading home after his Arwing is repaired. The final scene introduces Princess Daisy, who intervenes after Ukiki steals from a passerby.
Is Fox McCloud in the Mario Galaxy movie?
Yes. Fox is more than a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo: GamesRadar reports that he helps the group travel to Bowser Jr.’s planet, then appears in the mid-credits scene. The same report says Fox’s backstory briefly shows other Star Fox crew members: Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, Krystal, and Slippy Toad.
Who appears in the end-credit scene?
Princess Daisy appears in the final credits scene. The Los Angeles Times describes her stopping Ukiki after the monkey takes a passerby’s belongings. This is Daisy’s introduction in the film; it is not, by itself, an official announcement of a future movie or spin-off.

What other characters appear?
The Los Angeles Times identifies Rosalina, Lumas, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and Mr. Game & Watch among the notable introductions or fan-favorite appearances. GamesRadar reports additional brief or background appearances. These are reported examples, not a verified complete inventory.
| Character or group | Reported appearance |
|---|---|
| Rosalina, Lumas, Bowser Jr., Yoshi | Notable introductions or appearances identified by the Los Angeles Times. |
| Mr. Game & Watch | Identified by the Los Angeles Times as a fan-favorite appearance; GamesRadar says he aids the final showdown. |
| Pikmin, Donkey Kong, Wart, Birdo, Mauser, R.O.B. | Brief or background appearances reported by GamesRadar. |
| Piantas, Whittles, Gearmos, Ukiki, Laikitu | Additional appearances listed by GamesRadar. |
Should you stay through the credits?
Yes, if you want to see both scenes: one appears during the credits and the Daisy introduction comes at the end. The scenes point toward familiar characters and possible future story directions, but Fox’s line about going home and Daisy’s arrival should be treated as story teases—not confirmation of a Star Fox spin-off or another film.
