What happens in “Last Kiss”?
Prime Video lists “Last Kiss” as Season 3, Episode 8, released August 27, 2025, with a one-hour runtime. The episode takes place on Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding day, after Conrad has confessed his feelings for her.
Jeremiah leaves Belly a voice message apologizing for missing their planned beach meeting. He is spending the day with his father and the guys. Belly encounters Conrad in the kitchen. He tries to walk back his confession by saying he was drunk, but she challenges him. He admits he was trying to preserve some dignity and tells her he still loves her. Belly recognizes their connection, while also questioning whether leaving Jeremiah for Conrad would be the right choice.
Taylor confronts Conrad about how he has treated Belly and later questions whether Belly should marry Jeremiah. Conrad searches for Jeremiah and gives him their late mother Susannah’s letter. Jeremiah returns to the wedding preparations, but neither gesture resolves the conflict between the brothers or Belly’s feelings.

Why do Belly and Jeremiah call off the wedding?
In a private conversation, Jeremiah asks Belly to be honest about Conrad. Belly says, “I’ll always love him a little… But I choose you.” Jeremiah says that is not enough. He knows Belly and Conrad spent Christmas together and believes she has fallen back in love with his brother.
Belly realizes she cannot go through with the wedding. Jeremiah leaves, and they do not marry. The decision is made on the wedding day; it is not a last-minute interruption at the ceremony.

What happens after the wedding is called off?
Belly leaves her key at Cousins and decides to go to Paris for study abroad. At the airport, she sees Conrad. That sighting is a cliffhanger, not an answer: the episode does not show Belly’s reaction or whether she chooses to pursue him.

“Last Kiss” is part of the third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which follows Belly Conklin and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. Amazon describes Season 3 as taking place at the end of Belly’s junior year of college, with her relationship with Jeremiah unsettled by Conrad’s return. The series is based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy.
