Spoilers for Season 3, Episode 10, “Last Year.” Belly is trying to build a life in Paris, Jeremiah is struggling to find his footing back in California, and Conrad is still writing to Belly from afar. After an honest conversation with his brother, Conrad stops waiting for a reply and books a flight to Paris. The episode ends before he reaches her.
What happens in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 10?
Officially titled “Last Year,” the 1-hour-11-minute episode was released on September 10, 2025. Its story spans a year, with the three central characters separated: Belly tries to make Paris home, Jeremiah struggles without her, and Conrad in California cannot stop thinking about her. Prime Video’s episode listing sets out that central split.
The episode’s emotional movement is from distance toward a possible reunion, but not an actual one. Belly’s new routines and relationship do not erase her history with Conrad; Jeremiah’s attempt to move on is complicated by his own stalled life; and Conrad’s letters eventually give way to a direct decision to travel.
What is Belly’s life like in Paris?
Benito offers a chance at something new
Belly begins exploring a romance with Benito, whom she met in the previous episode. On Christmas Eve, he finds her dancing alone at the restaurant where she works. They spend the evening together and ride through Paris on his motorcycle. Taylor later visits for New Year’s Eve, bringing a familiar connection from home into Belly’s new surroundings.

Conrad’s gifts interrupt the fresh start
Conrad’s gifts arrive: Sour Patch Kids, Junior Mints, and Belly’s infinity necklace. She has been ignoring his letters, but the gifts still unsettle her. At midnight, she kisses Benito. The kiss is a step toward beginning again, though it does not establish that her feelings about Conrad have disappeared.
Belly also finds a better apartment and decides to stay in Europe for another year. That choice makes Paris more than a temporary escape: she is trying to build a life there while carrying reminders of the one she left behind.

What happens to Jeremiah back in California?
Jeremiah has not been as settled as he told his father. He misrepresents both his enrollment and his living situation, and the truth comes out at Friendsgiving. His father responds by cutting him off financially. Jeremiah then stays with Denise. The episode hints at a possible new connection for him, but does not resolve it.
His situation contrasts with Belly’s decision to extend her stay in Europe. She is making plans for a new chapter; Jeremiah is dealing with the consequences of not being honest about how his own life is going.

Why do Conrad and Jeremiah finally talk?
On the anniversary of Susannah’s death, the brothers speak face to face. Jeremiah recognizes the particular history between Belly and Conrad, telling Conrad, “I never could compete with what you two had.” The conversation is candid without making their conflict disappear.
Conrad explains that he has been writing to Belly and receiving no replies. He wonders whether her silence means he should give up. Jeremiah urges him to take the chance, while making clear that he may not be ready to accept what Conrad’s choice means. His advice is not a promise of approval; it is permission for Conrad to act without expecting his brother to be comfortable with it.

Does Conrad go to Paris in the ending?
Yes. Conrad books a flight to Paris after talking with Jeremiah. The decision turns his long-distance letters into a concrete move, and it is the episode’s cliffhanger.
But Episode 10 does not show Conrad arriving, seeing Belly, or reuniting with her. The episode leaves open whether Belly will welcome him and what she will choose. Prime Video lists the next episode, “At Last,” as the series finale; its synopsis says Belly’s 22nd birthday in Paris takes an unexpected turn when someone from home arrives.
