Bandai’s Star Wars Darth Vader Tamagotchi starts with Anakin Skywalker and lets you guide his care and interactions toward one of 10 character outcomes. It is a handheld Tamagotchi Nano—not a phone app—with a removable Darth Vader helmet-style silicone case.
How raising Anakin works
The virtual pet’s care loop follows Anakin’s story: how you look after him and interact with him influences which of 10 character outcomes appear. Bandai’s description frames the toy as a journey toward Darth Vader; the official manual’s growth chart shows multiple story stages and forms, so the outcomes should not be read as 10 different versions of Vader. See Bandai Namco’s instruction manual for the growth chart and controls.
Bandai describes lightsaber training and duels as ways to interact with the character. The toy also has five mini-games:
- Letter Catch: “STAR WARS”
- Lightsaber Training
- Trench Run
- Duel Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Battle with Luke Skywalker
Twelve memorable Star Wars scenes appear periodically, according to Bandai’s product listing.

Who this Tamagotchi is for
This version is a fit for Star Wars fans who want a small physical collectible with a character-care loop, themed mini-games, and scenes from the films. Its appeal is the combination of raising Anakin and carrying a Darth Vader-styled device; it is not a general-purpose digital pet app, and the care outcomes are framed around Anakin’s transformation rather than unrestricted character customization.
