Who is making the adaptation?
Electronic Arts announced the film as a collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Margot Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap, is involved, and Kate Herron is attached to direct and co-write with Briony Redman. BBC Newsbeat’s September 17, 2024 announcement coverage reported that EA said it was “too early to share more.” That was the position at the time of the announcement, not a current deadline or a promise that a specific update would arrive.
