The official Season 2 trailer for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse was published by Netflix Anime on December 9, 2024. Its official description places the Four Knights on a dangerous journey toward Camelot after a battle with Mela-Galland. The trailer itself is promotional material. It does not, on its own, show a complete scene-by-scene storyline, and the description does not say which characters appear in each shot.
What the trailer is and when it was published
The clip is a promotional video for the second season of the anime, not a full episode or a new 2026 release. Netflix Anime posted the English-language Season 2 trailer on December 9, 2024. The official Japanese series website separately lists two Season 2 videos in its movie archive: a main promotional video (PV) and a teaser PV. Those labels are the most reliable way to tell the two clips apart if you are searching for a specific one.

What Netflix’s official description says
The English trailer description reads: “After the harrowing battle with Mela-Galland, the Four Knights set forth to find a way into Camelot – but the path is rife with danger and adventure!” That is the only plot detail the official copy gives, and it is best quoted as Netflix Anime’s own promotional wording rather than as the statement of any individual character or staff member.
Two phrases from the official listing are useful for searching: “Season 2 Trailer: The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse” and “The Four Knights set forth to find a way into Camelot.”

Release dates and what each one refers to
Two different dates appear in the coverage, and they describe different things. They should not be read as conflicting.
| Date | Context | Source |
|---|---|---|
| September 10, 2024 | Crunchyroll News report that the main trailer previewed “MMH,” the opening song by UVERworld | Crunchyroll News |
| October 6, 2024, 16:30 JST | Start of the Japanese television broadcast, as announced | Crunchyroll News, September 10, 2024 |
| December 9, 2024 | Publication date of Netflix Anime’s English-language Season 2 trailer | Netflix Anime trailer metadata |
| January 30, 2025 | Premiere date stated in Netflix’s English-language trailer description (“Premiering January 30 2025”) | Netflix Anime trailer description |
The October broadcast date is a Japanese television context. The January date is a Netflix platform context. Because streaming availability and season presentation can vary by region, a Netflix premiere date should be checked against the title page in your own territory before you plan to watch.

Series context: the sequel’s premise and cast
Netflix describes the series as an anime based on manga. Its summary frames the story as a prophecy of doom unfolding in Britannia, where a purehearted boy sets out on a journey of discovery and revenge. The title page lists Shou Komura, Kikunosuke Toya, and Aino Shimada as starring performers.
The trailer’s headline phrase (“Four Knights of the Apocalypse”) points to the sequel’s own storyline. Readers should not assume the trailer is a general showcase of the original Seven Deadly Sins ensemble.

What the trailer does not establish
- Which characters appear in specific frames, or how the fight shown in the promotional material is staged.
- Any plot events beyond the official sentence about the route to Camelot and the danger along it.
- A view count, sales figure, or audience reaction. No verified statistic for this trailer is available from the sources reviewed.
To verify any of these points, watch the official clips on Netflix or the official Japanese site rather than relying on secondhand summaries.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where to watch and which version to choose
The main decisions readers face are about territory, language, and format. Netflix’s title page exposed English, Japanese, French, German, and Latin American Spanish audio among its options. That selection may depend on the country you are in, so check the audio and subtitle menu on the title page for your region.
Rank #4
| Option | Best for | What to check first |
|---|---|---|
| Netflix streaming | Watching the series with a choice of audio and subtitle languages | Whether the title and Season 2 are available in your territory, and which audio tracks are listed there |
| Print manga | Reading the source material the anime is based on | Search for the series title and check the volume and edition yourself before buying, as this article does not verify a specific edition or listing |
Netflix categorizes this title as a TV show based on manga, which is the reason the print edition is a relevant alternative for readers who want the original story.
