ABC billed “Escape Plan” as Season 6, Episode 10 and the season finale, scheduled for May 21, 2024; the fuller explanation of the conspiracy comes from post-finale coverage.
What the Season 6 finale is
ABC’s May 6, 2024 announcement identified “Escape Plan” as The Rookie Season 6, Episode 10 and the season finale, set to air May 21. Its pre-broadcast logline said Sgt. Grey would help the team prepare for its biggest mission and that several officers would uncover a surprising connection in their case. ABC’s finale announcement

How the conspiracy is exposed
Post-finale reporting identifies the connection as one between Monica Stevens, a lawyer who represents criminals, and Dr. Blair London, the LAPD therapist. TV Guide’s May 21, 2024 breakdown describes Blair’s scheme as blackmailing patients and selling their confidential information to criminal organizations. Celina Juarez traces Monica and Blair’s connection to a student-led panel Blair moderated three years earlier. TV Guide’s finale breakdown
That distinction matters: ABC’s pre-air description teased a surprising connection without spelling out the scheme. The specific blackmail and information-selling details were reported after the episode aired, not established by the network logline.

Does the trailer reveal the conspiracy?
The available preview coverage does not verify that a particular official Season 6 finale trailer reveals Monica and Blair’s connection. TVLine’s May 15, 2024 preview reported that Mekia Cox teased “big action” and a “familiar face,” alongside developments from the preceding episode. Those teases do not support saying that the trailer itself exposes the full conspiracy. TVLine’s finale preview
What happens with Lucy and Tim?
The conspiracy is the finale’s central reveal. TheWrap’s post-finale coverage says Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford do not restart their romance in “Escape Plan,” though an elevator moment leaves room for their future. TheWrap’s finale coverage
