The Richest Korean Actors: What 2026 Net-Worth Lists Actually Show

A 2026 list estimates the wealth of ten Korean actors, but a second list from the same publisher conflicts on Kim Soo-hyun and tenth place. Neither is a verified Hollywood-only ranking.

There is no substantiated ranking of the 10 richest Korean stars specifically in Hollywood. Two 2026 lists from Nubia Magazine rank Korean actors generally, and they conflict on Kim Soo-hyun’s estimated fortune and who ranks tenth. Their figures are publisher estimates—not audited disclosures—so they are best read as rough claims, not verified personal wealth.

Who are the richest Korean actors, according to the available 2026 list?

Nubia Magazine’s “Top 10 Richest Korean Actors 2026 & Net Worth (Highest Paid),” dated January 6, 2026 and updated October 7, 2026, gives the following estimates. The list does not define a Hollywood-only eligibility rule.

Rank Actor Estimated net worth
1 Kim Soo-hyun $68 million
2 So Ji-sub $41 million
3 Lee Jong-suk $32 million
4 Lee Min-ho $26 million
5 Song Joong-ki $24 million
6 Hyun Bin $21 million
7 Park Seo-joon $21 million
8 Lee Seung-gi $16 million
9 Gong Yoo $14 million
10 Ji Chang-wook $12 million

See Nubia Magazine’s ranking. The dollar amounts are the publisher’s estimates; the page does not provide audited personal financial statements.

Why do two 2026 rankings disagree?

A separate Nubia Magazine article, also labeled a 2026 ranking and updated October 7, gives Kim Soo-hyun an estimated $117 million rather than $68 million. It names Jo In-sung—not Ji Chang-wook—as the tenth-ranked actor, at an estimated $12 million. The publisher’s pages therefore do not support treating either Kim Soo-hyun figure or the tenth-place selection as definitive.

Comparison October 7 ranking Separate October 7 analysis
Kim Soo-hyun $68 million estimated net worth $117 million estimated net worth
Tenth place Ji Chang-wook, $12 million Jo In-sung, $12 million
Other names and figures So Ji-sub through Gong Yoo, as listed above Broadly similar middle cohort, with some rank and estimate differences
Evidence basis Publisher estimate; not an audited disclosure Publisher says estimates draw on public financial data and industry analyses, but the page does not show transparent calculations sufficient to verify totals

Read the separate Nubia Magazine analysis. Because the same publisher gives materially different figures, a precise fortune should not be presented as established fact.

Are these really Hollywood stars?

Not as a group on the evidence behind these rankings. Both lists cover Korean actors generally; neither applies a consistent rule such as Korean nationals with credits in Hollywood productions, Korean-born actors working in the United States, or performers with any American film or television credit. Park Seo-joon’s appearance in The Marvels is one cited American-film connection, and the articles also mention Lee Byung-hun and Bae Doona in American films. Those examples do not establish that every person in either wealth list belongs in a Hollywood-only top ten.

The Korean Film Council’s Korean Actors 200 introduces actors representing the present and future of Korean cinema to an international film-industry audience. It is useful for film context and identities, but it is not a wealth ranking and cannot validate net-worth estimates.

What do the dollar figures mean—and what don’t they mean?

Net worth is not the same as a salary or a reported fee for one project. A 2025 Hindustan Times roundup, for example, attributes to Forbes a report that Lee Jung-jae earned $1 million per episode for Squid Game seasons 2 and 3. That is a reported episode fee, not a total-wealth estimate, and it does not independently verify any actor’s net worth.

The available ranking pages do not disclose transparent calculations or primary financial records that establish the listed totals. Treat the amounts as estimates attributed to Nubia Magazine, not as confirmed bank balances, annual income, or comparable audited valuations.
