The show’s romances are fictional storylines, not evidence about the actors’ private lives.
Who are the Big Time Rush cast members’ real-life partners?
Here, “cast” means the four central band members—Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson—not every actor who appeared in the Nickelodeon series. Nickelodeon’s 2012 season announcement describes a story about fictional characters navigating fame, music and girlfriends. Those plotlines should not be confused with the performers’ real relationships.

Kendall Schmidt and Mica von Turkovich
Schmidt and Mica von Turkovich began dating in 2015, became engaged in 2022 and were reported married in November 2023, according to Entertainment Tonight. The outlet reported that Schmidt publicly called von Turkovich his wife, writing, “I’m so grateful for all of you and especially my beautiful wife @mica_chu.” That wording appeared in a public birthday post quoted by the outlet.
James Maslow and Caitlin Spears
James Maslow is engaged to Caitlin Spears. Us Weekly reported on May 14, 2025 that he proposed on May 8 at Hotel Cetus in Cetara, Italy. Maslow told the outlet: “I wanted this moment to be 100 percent about Caitlin, so I booked a trip to the Amalfi Coast for just us, told (almost) nobody, and enlisted the help of a random hotel and a few other Italian strangers to pull off a pretty amazing and romantic moment, if I do say so myself.”

- Shrink-wrapped
Spears, whom the report identifies as a certified health coach, described the proposal as a “breathtaking moment” and “one of the most magical moments of my life.” The cited report establishes an engagement; it does not establish a later wedding.
Carlos PenaVega and Alexa PenaVega
Carlos PenaVega is married to actress Alexa PenaVega. A 2025 CNN Chile interview article dates their marriage to January 4, 2014.
Rank #2
Logan Henderson’s relationship status
The reliable sources reviewed do not establish whether Logan Henderson currently has a partner. A 2025 Us Weekly article described him as single at that time, but that dated description cannot confirm his status in October 2026. Fan speculation is not confirmation, so there is no reliable basis here to name a current partner or label him single now.
