In its October 23, 2025 renewal announcement, USA Network said the first nine premiere episodes averaged 1.3 million total viewers and described the series as its most-viewed freshman series in seven years by total cross-platform viewership at that point. Those are network audience claims, not evidence of paid digital performance. The same announcement said the finale was the season’s most-viewed episode on USA Network. Is Season 2 uncertain?
No. USA Network announced the renewal on October 23, 2025, then announced that the ten-episode second season would premiere Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. What Season 2 is about
The official trailer coverage describes returning characters Rudy Baylor, Bruiser Stone, and Deck Shifflet taking on two cases: one involving a boy in juvenile detention and another involving Bruiser’s ex-husband. The announced returning leads include Milo Callaghan, Lana Parrilla, P.J. Byrne, and Madison Iseman. Merle Dandridge, Richard Kind, Austin Nichols, John Slattery, and Karen Bryson are also among the announced cast.
