Why Knoxville is at the top of the estimates
Knoxville’s career extends beyond performing in Jackass. Parade describes him as an actor, producer and creator of the franchise, with further film and television work. That broader career helps put the overall estimate in context, but Parade says his specific earnings from Jackass have not been publicized. The roughly $50 million estimate should not be mistaken for a franchise salary or a disclosed account of his earnings.

Why these estimates are not the cast’s salaries
Net worth is an estimate of a person’s assets minus liabilities at a point in time; it is not annual income, a project’s revenue or the fee paid for a particular film. A public estimate may reflect multiple kinds of work, business interests, property and investments, as well as private debts and expenses. The available sources do not provide a complete contract-by-contract account of what the cast earned from Jackass.
Steve-O’s work beyond the franchise
Celebrity Net Worth lists Wildboyz, stand-up touring, books, YouTube, podcasting, merchandise and branded hot sauce among Steve-O’s activities outside the original show. Those activities illustrate why an estimate may encompass several income streams; they do not establish that the approximately $4 million figure is accurate.

Why Bam Margera’s published estimates differ
The 2026 ranking puts Margera at about $2 million. Market Realist reported $5 million in an April 2022 article, while a 2021 CheatSheet article repeated a $20 million estimate. These are conflicting publisher-reported figures, not audited disclosures. The sources do not establish which amount reflects Margera’s actual finances or what caused the estimates to differ.

Dunn’s approximately $4 million estimate refers to the time of his death in 2011. It is not a present-day net-worth figure, and it should not be compared with living cast members as though all the amounts describe the same date.
