San Diego Comic-Con 2025 brought together event collectibles across major franchises and formats, from anniversary Hot Wheels sets and action figures to plush and mystery Pop! bundles. These are editorial picks for different kinds of fans—not a universal ranking. The event access windows have passed, and the official announcements do not establish what is currently in stock or what any item is worth on the resale market.
How to choose among SDCC 2025 exclusives
Start with the fandom you collect, then consider how the item is designed to be displayed and how it was sold. An anniversary vehicle set, an articulated figure, and a mystery collectible serve different collectors; none is objectively the best for everyone.
- Franchise fit: Pick the property you already collect or the one you want to represent in your display.
- Format: The announced lineup included action figures, multi-packs, die-cast vehicles, Pop! collectibles, plush, Tamagotchi devices, and a poster.
- Distinctive features: Look for accessories, alternate heads, articulation, anniversary packaging, or a scene recreated in the set.
- Acquisition route: Event-floor sales, shared online collectibles, reservations, and limited post-event sales differed by brand.
The official announcements document products and some original access rules, not production quantities, collector consensus, current availability, or resale values. Treat “must-have” below as a shortlist by appeal and format rather than a scarcity claim.
Mattel: anniversary sets and broad franchise variety
Mattel Creations’ SDCC 2025 lineup ranged from pop-culture vehicles to figures and multi-character sets. Its page marked several items sold out when accessed, so the lineup is not a current-stock report. See Mattel Creations’ SDCC 2025 listings.

The practical pick is the one that fits your collection: the announcement provides a roster, not comparative popularity or scarcity data. Read Hasbro’s SDCC 2025 announcement.

What the event access rules meant
Funko’s event guide said badge holders could apply through the SDCC Exclusives Portal from July 7 through July 17, 2025. Booth-entry selection was random; even a selected slot did not guarantee merchandise, because sales were first-come, first-served while supplies lasted. Shared online collectibles and booth items were different acquisition routes, and neither should be assumed available now. The dates and rules are documented in Funko’s SDCC 2025 event guide.

Buying one now: verify the exact item and seller
Because the convention and its published sales windows are over, an old event listing is not proof that an item is currently available. Before buying through a secondary listing, check the exact edition, sticker or packaging, condition, seller history, and whether the listing is new or used. The official pages cited here do not verify the authenticity, price, or availability of any present-day third-party listing.
