Kate Hudson’s Garatti diamonds lead reported values
Vogue describes Hudson’s custom necklace as centered on a 16-carat fancy green diamond, surrounded by 49.85 carats of white diamonds. She also wore green-diamond earrings and rings, bringing the ensemble to more than 41 carats of rare green diamonds, according to Vogue. Vogue and Vanity Fair each report the ensemble’s value as $35 million, but neither provides supporting valuation documentation or an appraisal method. Vogue’s account and Vanity Fair’s report therefore establish the highest value reported in the coverage, not a verified ranking of every piece worn at the ceremony.

JCK also highlighted Teyana Taylor’s Tiffany & Co. necklace, whose diamond drop exceeded 18 carats, and Arden Cho’s Messika Firebird necklace, with 89 carats of diamonds including a 5-carat cushion-cut stone. The coverage cited here does not give either piece a price, so their carat weights cannot establish whether they were worth more than Hudson’s ensemble. Why carat weight does not settle the price comparison
Carat totals describe weight, not value. A stone’s color, rarity, quality, design, and provenance can all affect price; the cited coverage does not provide a shared valuation method for these pieces. Hudson’s $35 million figure is therefore the strongest reported value in the available coverage, while the unpriced necklaces and one-of-a-kind Taffin designs cannot be reliably placed above or below it based on carats alone.
