Spoilers: Parade’s Feb. 6, 2025 reveal named three additional Season 13 contestants: Boogie Woogie, Nessy and Pearl. Their designs range from a disco-era monster to a tartan-clad, long-necked creature and a figure in a wave-like gown. The season premiered on FOX on Feb. 12, 2025, so this is a look back at a completed reveal—not an upcoming announcement.
Which three costumes did the Season 13 reveal add?
Parade’s Feb. 6, 2025 exclusive introduced Boogie Woogie, Nessy and Pearl. Parade said nine of the season’s 15 costumed competitors had already been revealed, making these three additions part of a larger rollout rather than the full lineup. Read Parade’s reveal and descriptions.
Boogie Woogie
Parade described Boogie Woogie as a disco throwback: a monster in a retro purple leisure suit, matching platform shoes and headphones. The look leans into a specific performance-era style rather than a conventional animal disguise.
Nessy
Nessy is a towering singer inspired by a mythical creature. Parade’s description highlights a long neck, tartan clothing and a smiling face, combining a familiar Scottish-monster reference with a bright stage look.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Pearl
Pearl’s costume pairs a flowing gown that evokes waves with an extravagant, tall crown. Parade’s description makes the silhouette—not a literal sea-creature body—the central visual cue.
How the costumes fit the Season 13 rollout
The three designs appeared at a different point in the publicity sequence from the season’s initial key art. On Jan. 2, 2025, TVLine previewed a “Lucky 13” theme and early artwork featuring three peas styled as the Three Musketeers, a muscular muffin, a pop-star puppy, a glamorous bat, an alien cowboy and an ant. TVLine also reported that FOX said Lucky Duck would appear throughout the season with luck-related clues. See TVLine’s early key-art preview.

On Feb. 12, the day the season premiered, TheWrap published a gallery of the new contestants and their designs. Its listed costumes included Ant, Bat, Boogie Woogie, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Griffin, Honey Pot, Nessy, Paparazzo, Pearl, Space Ranger, Stud Muffin and Yorkie. Parade’s season guide also lists Mad Scientist Monster and says the 15 competitors were divided into three groups of five. View TheWrap’s Season 13 costume gallery and Parade’s season guide.
That sequence matters: the Jan. 2 key-art preview, Feb. 6 reveal and Feb. 12 gallery were separate coverage moments. Calling the costumes “quirky” or “adorable,” or saying the disguises kept getting better, is a matter of taste; the reports document an expanding reveal, not a measured ranking of costume quality or audience response.

Season 13 premiere and panel context
Season 13 premiered on FOX on Feb. 12, 2025. Parade identified Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora as the judges, while TVLine reported that Nick Cannon returned as host. These are details about the 2025 season, not a statement about the show’s current lineup. In a broader discussion of the series, Jeong told Parade, “The format is the star”; the remark was not specifically about Boogie Woogie, Nessy or Pearl. Parade’s season guide.
