“Take a Letter, Vicki”
Vicki Stubing feels she has no useful role aboard the ship and asks her father, Captain Stubing, for a job. He makes her his secretary. “The Floating Bridge Game”
Three widowed bridge players are displeased when their new fourth member, Shirley Simpson, meets dentist Frank Leonhardt and would rather spend time with him than play cards. The group is played by Rose Marie, Jan Clayton, and Lucille Benson; Nanette Fabray plays Shirley, and Robert Alda plays Frank.
