The movie is The Last Rite, a 2021 horror film written and directed by Leroy Kincaide. BGR reported a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score in January 2022, but that is a dated report—not a verified current score or a measure of how many reviews it represented.
What is The Last Rite about?
Lucy is a medical student studying from home who experiences sleep paralysis. After she moves in with her boyfriend, she confronts what BGR’s synopsis describes as a demonic force. Father Roberts becomes involved, and the story’s central dilemma is whether he should bring in the Church or attempt an exorcism himself.

Sleep paralysis is the premise’s starting point for Lucy’s vulnerability; the supernatural threat and Father Roberts’s decision drive the horror plot. This is a film synopsis, not a medical explanation of sleep paralysis.
What did the 100% Rotten Tomatoes claim mean?
In an article updated January 6, 2022, BGR reported that The Last Rite had a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score. The report does not state the number of reviews behind that figure or explain the score methodology. It therefore supports describing the percentage as a historical claim made by BGR, not as a current rating or evidence of a broad critical consensus.
