What is The Infiltrator about?
Directed by Brad Furman, the film follows Robert Mazur, played by Bryan Cranston, during an operation set in 1986. Mazur poses as a businessman involved in money laundering to gain access to Escobar’s trafficking network. Diane Kruger and John Leguizamo are also among the principal cast. Netflix describes it as a story of a federal agent navigating Escobar’s criminal underworld, where a mistake could cost him his life. Netflix’s title page identifies it as a film based on a book and a true story.
