Carín León: a wider musical and language perspective
Mexican singer-songwriter Carín León brought a different perspective to the country festival lineup. The Recording Academy preview noted his 2024 Grand Ole Opry and Coachella debuts, as well as his collaboration with fellow Stagecoach performer Leon Bridges, “It Was Always You (Siempre Fuiste Tú).” His inclusion makes the lineup’s cross-genre reach more than a matter of blending country with pop; it also opens space for a Mexican artist with an international profile.
