Netflix’s Season 7 cast guide identifies Madelyn Rusinyak as an OnlyFans model and education staffer, and says she chose to compete as herself. The show’s sources establish her role in the 2024 season, but do not verify that she was the franchise’s first OnlyFans contestant.
Who is Madelyn Rusinyak on The Circle?
Netflix Tudum’s Season 7 cast guide, published September 4, 2024, describes Rusinyak as “an education staffer by day and OnlyFans model by night.” It lists her age as 25 and her location as Franklin, Georgia. Those are Netflix’s descriptions; the cast guide does not independently document her employment or earnings.

Netflix says Rusinyak played as herself rather than impersonating someone else. The distinction matters in a competition built around how contestants present themselves to other players: playing as yourself does not mean every move in the game is necessarily candid.
Was she the show’s first OnlyFans contestant?
The confirmed fact is that Netflix identified Rusinyak as an OnlyFans model. The available official cast information does not compare her with contestants from earlier seasons or international versions of The Circle, so it does not establish the broader “first” claim. That wording should be treated as a headline framing, not a verified franchise-wide record.

What did Rusinyak say about her game?
In a post-finale interview with Parade published October 2, 2024, Rusinyak said she initially intended to be genuine and avoid being a villain, while also wanting to avoid fading into the background: “Initially, when I first went in, I was like, ‘Okay, I’m gonna be very genuine. I’m not gonna be a villain.’ But I also went in thinking, ‘I don’t want to be a background character.’”
She later said she had not entered with a fixed plan and described herself as lucky. Those comments are her retrospective account of her approach, rather than an outside evaluation of her strategy. Read the Parade interview.
