The original film was followed by two more films, then by the series The Santa Clauses. Disney+ Press’s media kit documents the series and its second-season story. A press kit establishes the series’ existence and premise, not whether either the series or the original film is currently available in a particular country’s streaming catalog.
The original cast: where are they now?
Tim Allen (Scott Calvin / Santa Claus)
Allen reprised Scott Calvin in the two film sequels and the series The Santa Clauses, according to EntertainmentNow’s cast overview. The outlet also notes his work in Home Improvement, Last Man Standing and the Toy Story films. These documented roles show how closely his career has remained associated with familiar franchises; they do not establish a complete list of his projects in 2026.

Eric Lloyd (Charlie Calvin)
Lloyd returned as Charlie in The Santa Clauses, EntertainmentNow reports, and the same overview says he moved toward production work, ran a production studio and performed in a band. Those are the outlet’s reported career notes, not confirmation of his current schedule.
In a 2015 ABC News interview, Lloyd recalled making the movie and discussed the audience recognition that continued to follow his role as Charlie. That interview is useful for his memories of the film, but it is not a recent career update.
Wendy Crewson (Laura Calvin)
EntertainmentNow says Crewson continued working in film and television, including Saving Hope and television movies. Its overview also captions her at the June 2025 premiere of We Were Liars. That provides a dated indication of screen activity, not a comprehensive account of her projects or current work.
Judge Reinhold (Dr. Neal Miller)
EntertainmentNow’s career summary describes Reinhold’s continued television and film work and includes a caption of a June 2024 SiriusXM appearance. The overview does not establish a complete or current project schedule.

Rank #3
- Santa (Allen), aka Scott Calvin, is faced with double-duty: how to keep his new family happy, and how to stop Jack Frost from taking over Christmas.
David Krumholtz (Bernard)
Krumholtz returned as Bernard in The Santa Clauses. In a December 2022 TIME interview, he discussed the character’s return and recalled the audience’s enthusiasm for Bernard.
In a June 5, 2026, report, The Daily Beast attributed to Krumholtz an estimate that residuals from the franchise pay him about $150 a year. It is his estimate, not audited earnings data. The report quoted him describing the payments this way: “They’re minimal because the movie plays so much,” and, “This is how residuals work: every time it plays, you make less. It’s a grade scale.”
Rank #4
Peter Boyle (Mr. Whittle / Father Time)
Boyle played Mr. Whittle in the original and returned as Father Time in The Santa Clause 3, according to WatchMojo’s cast retrospective. The outlet reports that the film was among his last roles and that he died in 2006. His place in a present-day cast roundup is therefore retrospective rather than a current career update.
Paige Tamada (Judy)
WatchMojo reports that Tamada appeared in later sitcoms and left acting around the turn of the century. The same roundup makes claims about her later education and employment, but those details are not independently established here. Her current work and private circumstances should not be treated as verified.

What the cast’s later paths show
The clearest thread of franchise continuity is the return of Allen, Lloyd and Krumholtz in The Santa Clauses; Boyle had earlier returned in the third film. The evidence for the others’ later careers is more varied: Crewson and Reinhold have secondary-source career summaries and dated appearance or premiere captions, while Lloyd’s ABC News interview is a first-person account from 2015 rather than a current update. These snapshots are not equally recent or comprehensive, so they should not be read as a full accounting of what every performer is doing now.
D23 also records a production detail: 125 children aged 2 to 13 were selected to play the elves. That number describes the production’s casting, not the film’s audience size.
