Casper (1995) brought Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman to haunted Whipstaff Manor, alongside a cast of scheming humans and memorable ghost voices. Ricci’s later work is well documented in Yellowjackets and Wednesday; the available official sources establish the other performers’ roles in the film but do not provide a complete current-career update for the whole cast.
Who played whom in Casper?
Directed by Brad Silberling, Casper is a 1995 live-action family comedy and fantasy from Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Its story follows Kat Harvey and her father, Dr. James Harvey, as they arrive at Whipstaff Manor and encounter Casper and his three uncles. Amblin credits Sherri Stoner and Deanna Oliver as screenwriters and James Horner as composer. Amblin’s film page provides the official synopsis and credits.

The Ghostly Trio and Casper are vocal performances, distinct from the actors seen playing the human characters. Universal’s current film listing also names Ben Stein and Rodney Dangerfield in the cast.
Christina Ricci: from Kat Harvey to later roles
Ricci’s career continued well beyond her child-actor years. Paramount+ identifies her as Adult Misty in Yellowjackets and recounts earlier performances in its cast biography. Simon & Schuster’s publisher biography also notes her work in Wednesday and Yellowjackets; the page lists her Cat Full of Spiders Tarot Deck and Guidebook.

What is documented about the rest of the cast now?
The official film and cast pages establish the performers’ Casper roles, but they do not provide a sufficiently complete, current account of each person’s career or present-day status. That applies to Pullman, Moriarty, Idle, the voice cast, and the other credited performers. A responsible cast retrospective should not turn those gaps into claims about who is still acting or what everyone is doing now.
Where to watch or revisit the 1995 film
Universal currently lists Casper as digital, 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + digital, Blu-ray, and DVD. Its page gives the film a runtime of 1 hour 41 minutes and a PG rating. Availability can differ by region and retailer, so check the listing where you plan to watch or buy it. The listed formats are options, not a quality ranking.
