The sisters at the center of the story
Jessica Biel as Chloe Taylor
Chloe is a high-profile media executive and Nicky’s estranged younger sister. She is married to Adam and is Ethan’s mother. Adam’s murder draws Chloe back into the family history she shares with Nicky. Amazon’s series synopsis identifies Chloe as a media executive; Alafair Burke’s novel page offers additional book context, but details from the novel should not automatically be treated as facts about the adaptation.
Elizabeth Banks as Nicky Macintosh
Nicky is Chloe’s estranged sister, played by Elizabeth Banks. Amazon describes her as struggling to make ends meet and stay clean. Her difficult history with Chloe is part of what makes the sisters’ reunion after Adam’s death complicated.
