Yes. The song won Best Rock Performance. It was also nominated for Record Of The Year, but that award went to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” The Recording Academy’s final results list confirms both outcomes.
These categories recognize different aspects of music. Best Rock Performance honors a performance; Record Of The Year recognizes the recording and its production contributors. “Now And Then” was not nominated for Song Of The Year, the songwriting category.

What did AI do on “Now And Then”?
According to the Recording Academy’s 67th Grammy Program Guide, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr used AI stem separation to isolate Lennon’s vocal from his low-fidelity demo. This is audio separation and restoration applied to a pre-existing recording, not the generation of a new Lennon performance. The guide described the track as the first AI-assisted song to receive a Grammy nomination; that milestone is the guide’s characterization.

The finished track brought together recordings made decades apart, as outlined in the Recording Academy’s feature:
Rank #2
- The Beatles' double-A-side single for "Now And Then" & "Love Me Do" pairs the last Beatles song with their first UK single
- 1977: John Lennon recorded the original demo.
- 1995: George Harrison recorded guitar melodies during the Anthology sessions.
- 2022: Ringo Starr added drums and backing vocals.
McCartney enlisted Giles Martin as co-producer as the surviving Beatles completed the track. The Beatles’ official site also described the release as the group’s first UK Number One single in over half a century, adding a chart-history milestone to the song’s later Grammy recognition. The Beatles’ official announcement gives that description.
