She escapes captivity at Mount Tantiss, leads the other children toward freedom and unleashes the Zillo beast as a diversion. Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, Echo and their clone allies join the fight. After Hemlock’s defeat, the surviving members of Clone Force 99 find a home on Pabu. Years later, a grown Omega chooses to leave and join the Rebellion.
How Omega escapes Mount Tantiss
The finale does not leave Omega waiting for the Batch to rescue her. She takes action inside Tantiss, helps the other children escape and frees the Zillo beast. Its return pays off a storyline that began in The Clone Wars, according to StarWars.com’s official recap.
Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair and Echo converge on the crisis with help from their clone allies. The squad faces Hemlock’s CX troopers again, and the help of their friends enables them to overcome the conditioning that shaped those opponents. The finale centers on the rescue and the Batch’s fight; it does not establish the later fate of every captive or ally.
What happens to Hemlock?
Hemlock’s control over Tantiss unravels along with the facility and his research. The official recap says the facility is left in shambles and his research is destroyed. Omega gets the better of him, and he falls. His defeat ends the immediate threat posed by the project at Tantiss.

Why the Batch settles on Pabu
The surviving Batch members reach safety on Pabu. Hunter tells Omega, “Now, we get to choose what we want to be.” The line marks a change for Clone Force 99: they are no longer defined only by orders, combat or protecting Omega from one immediate danger. They can build a life together.
That peace is hopeful, but it is not presented as a cure for everything the characters have endured. Executive producer and head writer Jennifer Corbett said the team did not want Crosshair’s conclusion to be a simple happily-ever-after; he still has things to address. The cast described the Pabu chapter as a chance for the squad to live in peace for years. Corbett and supervising director Brad Rau discussed the ending with StarWars.com, as did voice actors Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang.

Does Omega join the Rebellion?
Yes. In the time-jump epilogue, Omega is grown and preparing to leave to join the Rebellion. Hunter lets her go. The scene presents her departure as her own choice and a new stage in her life, not a rejection of the family she has found with the Batch.
The finale confirms the decision, but not what happens after it. It gives no specifics about Omega’s rank, missions, companions or eventual fate. When asked about her future, Rau declined to answer, while Corbett left room for viewers’ theories. The official recap describes the moment as one story ending and another beginning.

What the ending means for Omega and the clones
The rescue plot and the family story reach their conclusion together. The Batch once had to take responsibility for Omega as a child; by the epilogue, she is able to choose a mission of her own. Baker described that step as a child needing to enter the world as her own person. Corbett said the creative team wanted the ending to feel more hopeful.
That reading is supported by what the episode shows: Omega survives, helps others escape, and later chooses to leave, while the Batch has a home on Pabu. The story gives her independence without suggesting that the family bond has ended. Her future beyond the decision to join the Rebellion remains open.
