In “Teach / Corrupt,” the twins are separated and placed beside the mentor chosen by the other: Osha is stranded with the Stranger, while Mae travels with Jedi Master Sol disguised as Osha. Osha’s encounter with the man beneath the helmet raises the episode’s central question—whether hearing a different account of the Force can unsettle the Jedi identity she has built.
What happens in “Teach / Corrupt”?
Picking up after the violence on Khofar, the episode splits its attention between two uneasy pairings. Mae is with Sol, pretending to be Osha. Osha, wounded and left on an unfamiliar world, is with the Stranger, who tends to her injury. Each twin is now close to the person who had been the other’s ally or adversary.
The switch gives both relationships a new tension. Sol initially believes Mae is Osha, while the Stranger knows the woman with him is not Mae. Their different levels of awareness shape the episode: Mae tries to sustain a deception, and Osha has to decide what to make of a captor who speaks to her as though he understands her.
Why is Osha with the Stranger?
After the Khofar battle, Osha is left behind with the Stranger, who treats her wound rather than immediately attacking her. He draws her into a conversation about her connection to the Force and questions the assumptions she inherited through her Jedi training.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The exchange is not proof that Osha has chosen the dark side. Lucasfilm writer Kristin Baver describes the scenes’ musical framing in terms of “the seductive themes” and “the allure of the dark side”; that is the episode’s thematic invitation, not a verdict on Osha’s eventual allegiance. Osha is curious and unsettled, but the episode leaves her response unresolved.
Is Qimir the Stranger?
Yes. The man beneath the Stranger’s helmet is Qimir, the former companion Mae met earlier in the story. The episode places Osha face to face with the identity behind the mask, shifting their encounter from a confrontation with an unknown masked figure to a more personal test of trust and influence. The official episode account refers to him as the Stranger; an independent recap identifies him as Qimir.

Why does Mae pretend to be Osha, and does Sol realize?
Mae impersonates her twin to stay close to Sol after the events on Khofar. At first, Sol embraces her as Osha, and Mae keeps up the act. Her control is visible elsewhere too: when Pip resists her, Mae factory-resets the droid rather than treating it as a companion with its own agency.
Sol eventually recognizes that the person with him is Mae, not Osha. He stuns and restrains her in binders. The deception therefore gets Mae near Sol, but it does not remain hidden.

What does Osha see inside the Stranger’s helmet?
Osha tries on the Stranger’s cortosis helmet and gets a glimpse of Mae’s next attack. The moment links the separated twins across the episode’s two storylines, but it does not explain exactly how Osha experiences the vision or settle what it means for her connection to Mae.
What is Vernestra doing after Khofar?
Vernestra weighs the battlefield evidence and resists drawing a quick conclusion about what happened. She also uses her purple lightsaber whip against an umbramoth. These scenes show her investigating the aftermath; they do not establish that she has solved the mystery surrounding the Khofar battle.

Where does the episode leave the twins?
Sol has recognized Mae and restrained her, and he is about to speak to the person he believes is Osha. But the episode ends before he tells Osha what he wants to reveal. The twins’ past—and the truth Sol is preparing to share—remain hanging over the next installment.
That withheld conversation makes the episode’s parallel choices especially pointed: Osha is listening to a challenge to her Jedi formation, while Mae has resorted to deception and forceful control. Neither contrast establishes where either twin will ultimately stand.
