That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 premiered on April 3, 2026, on Crunchyroll in the territories named in its announcement. It is a multi-cour season, not a release that finished with that premiere: the official franchise portal now schedules the third cour for July 2027.
When did Season 4 release?
Season 4 began on April 3, 2026. Crunchyroll announced the premiere date and territories in its Season 4 streaming announcement. The announcement did not specify an exact premiere time, so a single local time should not be assumed.
The April date marks the start of the season, not its completion. Crunchyroll reported in December 2025 that the season was planned as five cours, with the first two airing consecutively from April 2026. A later official update gives a more specific date for the third: July 2027. The currently confirmed milestones are:
| Milestone | Schedule | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Season 4 premiere | April 3, 2026 | The season began streaming; this was not the full season’s final release. |
| First two cours | Consecutive broadcast beginning April 2026, per Crunchyroll’s December 19, 2025 report | This was the announced initial broadcast plan. |
| Third cour | July 2027 | The official franchise portal’s September 25, 2026 notice schedules this cour to air then. |
| Fourth and fifth cours | Not stated in the cited schedule announcements | No dates for these cours are established by the cited notices. |

Where can you watch Season 4?
Crunchyroll named North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS as streaming territories for its Season 4 release. That list does not mean Crunchyroll is available everywhere. The official global streaming directory lists other providers across Asian territories and cautions that “Streaming schedules may differ between services.” Check the directory and your local service listing for availability and timing in your country.
What is Season 4 about?
Crunchyroll’s synopsis describes Rimuru working to build an alliance between humans and monsters while facing conflict involving Granville and Maribel Rozzo. It also points to Demon Lord Leon pursuing separate aims in El Dorado. The synopsis offers the broad setup without establishing further plot details.

What to read while waiting for later cours
The franchise has a manga adaptation catalogued on the official portal. It is a separate way to explore the series, not an episode guide or a Season 4 home-video release. The catalog credits Taiki Kawakami and Fuse and identifies Kodansha as publisher; see the official manga catalog.
