En febrero de 2026, Thalí García contó que seguía combatiendo una depresión y que se sentía debilitada tras atravesar pérdidas personales y problemas de salud. Dijo que quería compartir su proceso físico y mental mientras intentaba reconstruirse. Su testimonio, recogido por People en Español, fue una declaración personal, no una evaluación clínica.

Qué contó Thalí García en febrero de 2026

En un video publicado en redes, García describió el impacto que tuvo en ella el año 2024: “El 2024 arrasó conmigo. Tuve pérdidas de todo tipo y para finales de año estaba sumergida en una enorme depresión a la que hoy sigo combatiendo”, citó People en Español el 9 de febrero de 2026.

También habló de una dificultad física concreta: “Hoy, en 2026, no puedo terminar una clase de pilates para principiantes en mi casa. Estoy totalmente abandonada y debilitada”. Explicó que quería mostrar su proceso y animó a quienes dudaban en empezar a levantarse y hacerlo. La clase de Pilates fue un ejemplo de cómo describía su estado, no una recomendación de ejercicio ni una medida clínica de su salud.

Los acontecimientos que dieron contexto a su relato

Al día siguiente, El Universal resumió una cronología que atribuyó a lo que García había contado públicamente. Los antecedentes ayudan a entender el contexto de su testimonio, pero no constituyen una verificación independiente de su historial médico o personal.

  • 2024: Según la cronología publicada por El Universal, la muerte de su primer esposo, Gabriel Romero, y otras pérdidas marcaron ese año. En una publicación posterior sobre su experiencia con melanoma, García contó que Romero murió el día de su cirugía y que la tristeza le dificultó celebrar que la patología hubiera resultado limpia.
  • 2025: El Universal mencionó su separación de su segundo esposo, Felipe Aguilar, y un diagnóstico de cáncer de piel. En abril de ese año, People en Español informó sobre la cirugía por melanoma que García había contado públicamente.
  • Febrero de 2026: Compartió que seguía combatiendo una depresión, se sentía debilitada y quería documentar su proceso de recuperación.

Cómo cambió el tono de su relato en junio

En una entrevista publicada el 19 de junio de 2026, Marie Claire México recogió una reflexión posterior de García sobre resiliencia y sobre pérdidas profesionales, económicas, de salud y afectivas que dijo haber atravesado. “Hoy me aplaudo mucho, me abrazo y me respeto”, expresó.

Ese mensaje muestra una perspectiva pública distinta a la vulnerabilidad que compartió en febrero, pero no demuestra por sí solo que haya superado la depresión ni permite establecer una recuperación clínica. En ambas ocasiones, lo que se conoce es lo que García decidió contar y lo que los medios publicaron.

Qué se puede y qué no se puede concluir

El testimonio permite describir cómo García dijo sentirse y qué acontecimientos vinculó a ese periodo. No permite confirmar un diagnóstico independiente, determinar causas médicas, conocer qué tratamiento recibió ni establecer su estado de salud o pronóstico actual. La cobertura sobre su experiencia con melanoma es distinta de su relato sobre depresión; en 2025, García pidió consultar a profesionales ante síntomas o manchas. Su historia no sirve para diagnosticar ni para decidir tratamientos por cuenta propia.
