What was Terrify Your Tablet?
Terrify Your Tablet was described as a horror-focused, Stuff Your Kindle-style promotion: participating authors reduced the prices of selected ebooks, with some titles offered free. An October 4, 2024 article reproduction attributed the event to Horrorsmith Publishing, which it described as a horror-specialist publisher founded in 2022. That attribution comes from the article, rather than an independently verified organizer statement.
The same article reported that the event’s first edition took place on October 31, 2023, and that the 2024 edition began October 3. These are past event dates, not a recurring schedule.
When is Terrify Your Tablet Day?
The reported 2024 event began October 3, 2024, and was described as live in coverage published the following day. The available reporting does not establish a date for a 2026 edition, so it should not be treated as an upcoming or currently active promotion.
