What is the first look at Ted Lasso season 4?
Apple TV’s April 28, 2026 announcement introduced the season’s premise and confirmed its August 5 premiere. Apple described Ted’s return to Richmond as “his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team.” That is the official season setup; it does not establish further plot details.
The shift puts Ted in charge of a women’s team rather than returning him to the same coaching assignment from the earlier seasons. Apple’s series page also lists the season-four premise and official trailer.

Season 4 premiered globally on Apple TV on August 5, 2026, with one episode. Apple announced a weekly Wednesday release schedule running through October 7, 2026.
