What Grammy record did Taylor Swift break?
Swift became the artist with the most wins in the Grammy category Album of the Year. Her fourth win came at the 66th Grammy Awards in 2024, when Midnights took the award. The Recording Academy’s artist profile identifies her as the category’s sole four-time winner.

This is a category record, not a count of every Grammy an artist has received. Album of the Year recognizes the best overall achievement on an album. The Academy’s category archive lists artists as well as eligible featured artists, songwriters, producers, recording engineers, mixers and mastering engineers among those recognized.

The Recording Academy’s history of the milestone names Sinatra, Simon and Wonder as the artists Swift surpassed. Wonder’s three wins were therefore a tie for the previous high—not a record for total Grammy awards.

Yes. The Academy’s award archive lists Bad Bunny as the 2026 Album of the Year winner and Swift as the 2024 winner. Its artist profile continues to identify Swift as the record-holder with four wins. The 2026 result did not change the category record.
