The NHL’s official social post, reproduced in its report, read: “Take me to Florida!!! 🤩 @taylorswift13 and @tkelce are taking in Game 4 of the #StanleyCup Final!” That was the league’s caption, not a statement from Swift or Kelce. The NHL also published a video listing of the pair at Game 4.

Was it officially called a date night?
“Date night” is a reasonable shorthand for the celebrity outing, but the cited reports establish that Swift and Kelce attended together and describe what observers saw. They do not include a quote from either of them calling it a date night or explaining their private plans.
