The Madison follows the Clyburn family as they leave their comfortable New York City lives for Montana’s Madison River Valley. Paramount describes the series as “a profound love story channeled through a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation.” Its official synopsis emphasizes grief, resilience and human connection.
The drama stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell. Paramount announced a global, exclusive Paramount+ premiere for March 14, 2026.
What does the No. 1 ranking mean?
A March 16, 2026 Collider report, available through IMDb syndication, said The Madison was No. 1 overall on Paramount+ in the United States according to FlixPatrol’s daily chart. That is a third-party chart position for a specific territory and date. It does not establish that the show is still No. 1, nor is it an official Paramount audience ranking. How Paramount’s audience figures differ
Paramount separately announced that the premiere episode drew 8 million global views in its first 10 days. The company also called The Madison its most-watched first-season launch for a Taylor Sheridan series, and attributed to Luminate the finding that it was the No. 1 original season by views among streaming originals in its first week.
