PerthNow reported on November 6, 2025, that the festival would run from March 5 to 8, 2026. Its announcement described more than 20 events around the Great Southern. The official festival calendar also retains listings for those March dates, including food, wine and regional experiences. These are historical program details, not current ticket availability.
Which chefs were announced?
The lineup named chefs Jo Barrett; Evan Hayter of de’sendent; Paul “Yoda” Iskov of Fervor; Corey Rozario of Dahl Daddys; Will Meyrick; Amy Hamilton; Paul Bentley; and Melissa Palinkas. Sommeliers Cyndal Petty and Emma Farrelly were also announced.
One listed event, Tides of Taste x Singlefile, brought Barrett, Hayter, Iskov and Rozario together at Maitraya Luxury Private Retreat. The official event listing described lunch and dinner sessions, a four-hour beverage package, an Albany Rock Oyster Bar, substantial canapés, entertainment and optional bus tickets. Its listed price was $200 plus booking fee; that was historical listing information, not a current offer.

What kinds of events were on the program?
The announced schedule mixed formal dining with activities intended to connect food and wine to the region’s landscapes and communities. PerthNow described high-end canapés overlooking the Southern Ocean, Porongurup hikes followed by lunch, barefoot bowls, zero-waste banquets, yoga and ocean plunges, artisan markets, and hop-on, hop-off wine adventures through Denmark. These were program descriptions rather than confirmation of completed events.
The official calendar also lists experiences including Taste Trails, Smoke & Sea, Fervor Voyage, Boston Brewing Co. Artisan Markets and Taste Market, alongside winery and dining events. Historical labels such as “Sold Out” and “Selling Fast” on the calendar refer to the listings at the time they were displayed; they do not indicate that tickets are available now.

What the announcement said the festival was for
Festival director Erin Molloy described the program as “showcasing the incredible breadth of world-class wine, premium produce, iconic locations and vibrant people and culture.” Tourism Minister Reece Whitby said the event supported the local economy and businesses while highlighting the region’s offerings. Those comments set out the festival’s intended role; they are not published measures of economic impact.

They do not establish final attendance, economic impact or whether every listed session went ahead.
