Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall are married athletes. Team USA’s June 2024 profile presents them as husband and wife and offers a glimpse of how they share life in and around sport.
The Cabo San Lucas engagement
In September 2021, Hunter proposed to Tara in Cabo San Lucas. Team USA describes proposal photos with Tara in a flowered dress, white flowers, and the ocean in the background. The beach setting gives the images a bright, intimate feel, while the proposal marks a clear turning point in their story. Both athletes posted about the engagement, according to Team USA’s report.
Wedding-day and off-track style
Team USA’s 2024 profile includes a captioned image of the couple walking the aisle at their wedding. It also features a photo of them together at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, with the caption dated June 26, 2021. Taken together, the images show both a milestone celebration and their ease in front of the camera.

In that profile, Hunter described their public style as an extension of their personalities: “Honestly, I would say we’re just being ourselves – we continue to do what excites us and a lot of times that does pull in fashion, a little bit of pzazz or excitement around the camera,” he told Team USA. Tara described their partnership this way: “We hold each other accountable – we’re a partnership, we’re a team, and every day, it’s a new experience, but we get to do it together, so it makes it ten times better.”
A Paris 2024 celebration
One of their most affecting public moments came at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The International Paralympic Committee’s coverage describes Hunter celebrating with his wife after Tara won Olympic gold in the women’s long jump. The image’s appeal lies in the shared emotion: a major sporting achievement witnessed and celebrated by a partner who knows the demands behind it.

For more images, start with the athletes’ official channels. Tara’s verified Linktree points to her Instagram and shared Woodhalls accounts. The couple’s verified shared Linktree lists Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
