People’s September 7, 2022 report via Yahoo Entertainment identified hairstylist Johnny Wright, makeup artist Raul Otero and wardrobe stylist Eric Niemand as members of the glam squad Hall tagged.
The coverage does not name a hair-color brand, styling product or tool, so the specific formula and technique behind the look are not established.
Why Hall’s short hair has personal meaning
In earlier remarks recounted by the 2022 coverage, Hall said she first cut her hair at 18, later faced negative comments when she grew it out, and felt more like herself after returning to a short style. The same report attributed this previously reported reflection to Hall: “My soul came back. And I said, ‘This is who I am, and deal with it.’” The available coverage does not establish the original date or setting of that remark.
What “Golden Hour” meant for the show
For Hall, “Golden Hour” was more than a label for the premiere look. In a September 2022 interview with HuffPost, she said the season theme described the special hour she shared with the audience: time to talk about life, inspire one another, learn, laugh and sometimes cry together. How the 2022 look differs from Hall’s 2024 premiere hairstyle
