The initial exchange was friendly: Tamra reintroduced herself and complimented Gretchen. But the scene cut against that politeness with Gretchen’s private reaction. She said, “This definitely feels like a Tamra tactic: Pretend like everything’s great, make everybody, laugh … right before she strikes,” expressing her suspicion rather than establishing Tamra’s intent.
Why had they been apart for so long?
Gretchen joined RHOC in Season 4, which Peacock dates to 2008, and the two women appeared together through Season 8. Peacock’s cast guide traces their relationship through conflict and reconciliation before it ended after that season. Us Weekly reports Gretchen left the show in 2013 and also describes the Season 19 lunch as a meeting between Tamra and Gretchen, then a friend of the cast: Us Weekly’s account.

In a 2023 retrospective, Bravo reported Tamra’s recollection that the pair had not communicated “in 10 years.” That was Tamra’s estimate at the time, not an independently verified date of their last contact. Bravo’s more specific description of the 2025 on-camera meeting was 12 years.
What did Tamra say about making peace?
In an interview published July 17, 2025, Tamra said she wanted to move forward rather than reopen old disputes. “So, I asked her the first time I saw her, like, ‘Can we move forward? Like, let’s move forward. I have no interest in going back 15 years.’” She also said, “Successful people don’t look back; They move forward.” Both statements describe Tamra’s perspective on the encounter, not a mutual agreement.

That distinction matters: the lunch showed a friendly greeting, while Gretchen’s confessional showed distrust. Neither moment, by itself, demonstrated that the women had resolved their history.

The reunion lunch did not settle the conflict. Later coverage described the feud as continuing through Season 19. TVLine reported that the season’s three-part reunion concluded on November 20, 2025: TVLine’s Season 19 reunion recap. The available reporting establishes that the dispute remained part of the season; it does not establish their relationship status as of October 2026.
