What Tammy Slaton’s reported new photos showed
In a July 22, 2025 report, The Independent described new TikTok selfies Tammy shared after skin-removal surgery. One image showed her wearing black shapewear. The report did not identify a brand or say that she endorsed the garment.
The date matters: these were reported as post-surgery photos from 2025. The available material does not establish that they are the same images referred to by later headlines, so they should not be presented as a newly verified October 2026 post.

These figures should not be combined into one simultaneous measurement. The 608-pound figure is a show-history starting point, the under-226-pound figure is tied to a later pre-approval weigh-in, and 238 pounds is what Tammy said during the April 2025 premiere, as reported later that year. None establishes her current weight in October 2026.
Did Tammy Slaton have skin-removal surgery?
Yes. TLC’s September 2026 retrospective recounts that she later had skin-removal surgery after reaching an under-226-pound weigh-in before approval. The Independent’s July 2025 report said more than 15 pounds of excess skin were removed from her chin, arms and lower stomach; that detail is attributed to the publication’s report, not an independent medical record.

The Independent also quoted Tammy describing her nerves beforehand: “I was really nervous for the skin removal surgery because I was really just kind of afraid of how I’m gonna feel looking at myself without the belly there.”

Tammy’s photos are one part of a multi-year story documented on 1000-lb Sisters and her social-media accounts. E!’s August 31, 2025 photo retrospective says she underwent bariatric surgery in mid-2022 and describes a July 2025 update featuring a skin-tight bodysuit. That description and the Independent’s account provide context for the broader timeline, but they do not establish that every photo report refers to the same post.
