What did Hembrow say about her dress and the guest policy?
In comments to Vogue Australia reproduced by 9Now, Hembrow said she liked that her gown was not white: “I felt like a princess… the fact that it wasn’t white was actually really appealing to me. To me this wasn’t the most ‘conventional’ love story so it seemed fitting.”
Addressing the wedding’s approach to children among guests, Hembrow explained the distinction between her own children and other guests’ children. As quoted by 9Now, she said: “I just meant like I don’t want other people bringing their kids. Because, let’s be real, kids can be a bit full on. I want the other adults to relax and enjoy themselves. And I’ve got kids, I know how stressful they can be.”

ELLE Australia reported that Hembrow and Zukowski went public with their relationship in September 2023 and announced their engagement in December 2023. 9Now said the engagement took place during a holiday in the Maldives.
