That is WWE’s published height and billing, not a figure accompanied by a stated measurement method or independent verification.
WWE’s tallest wrestlers, by the heights it publishes
The table compares the WWE-listed heights available for these six performers. The figures come from WWE profiles or retrospectives, not a standardized, independently verified dataset; WWE does not present them here as one complete all-era ranking.

How tall was Giant Gonzales?
WWE lists Giant Gonzales at 8 feet and calls him “the tallest Superstar in WWE history” in his official profile. The profile says he joined WWE in 1993 and faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania IX. Gonzales also had a WCW career before joining WWE, so the WWE superlative is specifically a claim about WWE history, not a claim that his entire career took place there.
How the other listed heights compare
Andre the Giant: 7 feet 4 inches
WWE’s Andre the Giant profile gives him a height of 7 feet 4 inches, placing him second among the six listed figures.

WWE’s retrospective on its “jets” and “giants” lists The Great Khali at 7 feet 1 inch. A separate WWE article, published February 11, 2014, calls Big John Studd a “legitimate 7-foot-1.” Both figures are WWE editorial claims; the wording about Studd does not supply a measurement record or independent verification.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What these heights do—and do not—establish
WWE’s profiles and editorial features provide the clearest basis for comparing the performers, but they do not explain a consistent measurement method. No independent measurement authority or standardized dataset is identified alongside these figures. Treat them as WWE-published or billed heights rather than precise, independently confirmed biological measurements.
