Sydney Sweeney attended the May 3, 2025, grand opening of Palm Tree Beach Club in Las Vegas with Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Patrick Schwarzenegger. A group photo from the event appeared on Sweeney’s Instagram Stories, and MGK reposted it the following day. Reports placed the outing shortly after Sweeney and Jonathan Davino called off their engagement, but the photo does not establish a romantic connection between Sweeney and MGK.
Where and when the Vegas outing happened
The event was the grand opening of Palm Tree Beach Club in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Just Jared reported that Sweeney posted a group photo to Instagram Stories that day. TMZ identifies the venue as Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand Hotel.
Who appeared in the photos
The group photo showed Sweeney with MGK and Patrick Schwarzenegger at the event. Just Jared reported that MGK reposted the image on May 4 with the caption, “If rehab did a field trip to White Lotus.” That was MGK’s caption for the photo, not a statement about his relationship with Sweeney.
Why the outing drew attention
Entertainment coverage situated the party shortly after reports that Sweeney and Jonathan Davino had called off their engagement. TMZ’s account of the timing of their split relied on its sources; neither the event photo nor the cited reports establish that the party was connected to the end of the engagement.

The report did not identify brands or exact products.
Were Sydney Sweeney and MGK dating?
The shared photos show that Sweeney and MGK attended the same event and posed together; they do not confirm that the two were dating. A 2026 Just Jared retrospective says speculation followed the Las Vegas photos, but there was never confirmation that Sweeney and MGK dated.
