Sweet lil Petty popping up in September.” Parade reported the announcement on May 14, 2024; its article reproduced the Instagram wording.

At the time, Petty was one of six contestants still competing on Survivor 46. Coverage then described her as a 29-year-old salon owner; those details refer to May 2024, not her present age or current status on the show. Parade’s announcement coverage provides that contemporaneous context.
Who is Jackson Petty?
Jackson Petty is Kenzie’s husband. Parade’s May 2024 report says they married in September 2023 and quotes Kenzie thanking him for his support and partnership in life and parenthood. Parade’s report on the announcement also identifies him as the baby’s father.

What happened after the announcement?
Their first son was born in September 2024
Parade later reported that Kenzie gave birth to a son in September 2024. The outlet reproduced wording from her Instagram update: “Out of everything I’ve ever done, this is by far the best,” and, “Our birth was beautiful, we are doing great in postpartum. Everyone’s healthy and happy.” Parade’s birth coverage attributes those statements to her post.
A second child was reported in 2026
In a report dated May 10, 2026, Reality TV World said Kenzie and Jackson had announced the birth of their second child and were parents of two. It identifies their first son, Beau, as born in September 2024. Reality TV World’s May 2026 report is the later update; the 2024 first-pregnancy announcement should not be read as current pregnancy news.
